Our story
Our founder, Sandy Snibbs believed in two things: hard work and good soda. In 1927, Sandy started making soda from inside his backyard shed in his hometown of Whisky Creek, Louisiana. With limited supplies, he used a barrel for holding the liquid, a canoe paddle for stirring, and a sock for straining. The original flavor of Snibbs Soda is Pinestraw Muscadine: Sandy's personal favorite. Starting out just preparing soda for his family, Sandy eventually began bringing it to Church potlucks, community picnics, and local funerals. It wasn't long before the people of Whisky Creek realized what a true gift Sandy had for crafting the perfect soda. This is when Snibbs Soda was taken from hobby to profession.
Our Twist
Snibbs Soda isn't ordinary, traditional soda. Back when Grandady Snibbs was still alive and hand crafting soda, he figured out a way to make his soda stand out. And the best part is, it's all natural. We won't tell you everything, since it's a Snibb family secret, but what we can tell you is that it involves the stem of a cherry blossom, and in some cases, the skin of a Yukon Gold Potatoe.
